Our Founder

Tim is a third generation, serial entrepreneur, whose belief in building collaborative relationships, concern for the physical welfare of others, and passion for fitness drives his efforts towards the development of innovative products and technologies.

Like his forefathers, Tim is driven by the entrepreneurial spirit, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. His grandfather launched a company during the Great Depression; his father launched a company while in college; and Tim launched Square Root Brands during the Covid-19 pandemic of 2020. He is proud to follow in the footsteps of his family.

You could say that taking risks is a family trait. Tim believes that inspiration is a great driver of innovation, no matter what the time or circumstances. When an idea is right—especially when it has the potential to impact recovery from injury, physical, and mental performance—the time is right to see it through.

Square Root Brands is founded out of Tim’s passion to share the personal performance technologies, tools, and training that have helped him thrive throughout his life, and develop new ones to solve problems relating to mobility and recovery from trauma that others may experience.

Innovation

Through strategic collaborations ,Square Root Brands founded Square Root Nucleus in 2021. Its mission is to create, design, and manufacture products for the strength, conditioning and rehabilitative marketplace.

Square Root Nucleus leverages the expertise and resources of select companies and universities to create products that contribute to, what we call, the multiplier effect—the combination of inspiration, grit, commitment, coaching, training, tools, and care that raise physical performance to a higher power.

Our strategic collaborations provide Square Root Nucleus with access to tremendous resources, expertise, and market leadership when developing new products. Our fail fast, fail cheap approach manages risk while focusing on the potential for commercialization.
